As you can see from a previous post my work has been posted on different websites. To progress from this i emailed the relevant companies and asked if they could give me a short review/feedback.
Here is one from Anthony Hopwood who is a photographer. He visted the exhibition whilst i was there over Easter and this is his picture.
Here is his feedback and review on my 'Cut Out Wardrobe'
"The cut out wardrobe! interesting idea, fits in well with the Paper eaters, fun, interactive, i have been back since then and it wasn't on, perhaps their should be a sign saying people help them selfs to put the cut outs on and take their own photograph on the back ground ( most people carry a camera with them nowadays, phones etc...) The images you took were okay, but as a photographer i would use a little lighting lift the image, also get the subject in the cutout to pose and do silly things gives another dimension to the image. but over all i liked it, i love things in installation where you can be apart of it, the cutouts were easy to put on and great designs. nice one" (Friday 16th April)
Thank you so much Anthony I really appreciate your comments, its great to get feed back from a professional photographer. Your comments will be very helpful.
In response to what you have said: Yes the idea about a sign is very good and one has been sent to Selfridges explaining what its all about and encouraging people to try the cut outs on and to take their own pictures. Also adding my email asking if they would send their photos.
Yes I loved this picture of John Scott who you came in with.

It makes the whole picture so much more fun! I definitely should have got people to do more stuff like this. I think people were quite scared to move around in them because they are quite flimsy and people were scared to break them. If I were to do it again i think it would be a good idea to have big printed pictures of other people doing poses like this so they will look to those for inspiration.
